Grace Bay Beach
This beach is a must-see if you’re headed to the island. It has been rated the #1 beach in the world, and it’s easy to understand why once you see the turquoise waters and clean, white sands against the blue sky.
-
Coconut Grove Restaurant and Lounge
Head to this restaurant if you want to get out of the typical tourist spots and experience some local flavor. This restaurant serves up fresh and delicious snapper, coconut crusted corn, conch, and plantain chips with mango salsa with warm, island service.
-
Take a Snorkeling or Diving Day Trip
Taking a day trip will allow you to check out several of the island’s best diving and snorkeling spots such as the Grand Turk Wall, Smith’s Reef and Gibbs Cay. Grand Turk Wall was rated in the top 10 dive spots by USA today and is the stuff of divers’ dreams. Smith’s Reef is what protects the beautiful Grace Bay from harsh surf leading to its pristine conditions but is also a site to see on its own with a rainbow of coral and fish to see. Gibbs Cay is an uninhabited island featuring gorgeous beaches, an array of sea life including brown stingrays and conch, and breathtaking views of the dunes.

Watersports
If you just can’t get enough of these crystal clear waters, try out a guided stand up paddle boarding tour through the mangroves or learn how to kitesurf (or, if you’re experienced, rent gear).

Deep Sea Fishing
If you prefer to stay on the boat instead of in the water, head out on a fishing excursion. You’ll head past the Grand Turk Wall, where depths increase rapidly. Some fish you can expect to catch include Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, and Blackfin Tuna (season dependent).

Landmarks
Want to totally stay on land? No worries, this island is full of beautiful sites for landlubbers. Head to Cheshire Plantation to learn about the early history of the island and see beautiful, native fauna. Grand Turk Lighthouse is another great place to learn about the history of the island, check out the lighthouse itself, or even zipline across the shoreline.
